Affiliate Guidelines

Here are some guidelines that our affiliates must follow. We’ve included some items that should be removed from your pages along with a list of statistics and testimonials (listed below) that you can use on your pages. Guidelines:

  • Do not use "Find out the Truth about Anyone" - Truth may be an issue since we can't say for sure that it's the truth. Information changes quickly and we get data updates at different scheduled intervals. Use: Uncover information, Dig deep to find out what people are hiding, etc
  • Do not make guarantees or promises concerning the "freshness" of data
  • Do not use 750,000 Users - This needs to be not used anymore ... switched to number of searches, etc.
  • Do not use The NAIPI endorsement or seal. Use: The National Association of Investigative Specialist seal only
  • Do not state that we provide License Plate Lookups (This is not available.)
  • No DMV Records/License plate data is available.
  • Do not use versions of Net Detective (i.e., Net Detective 7.0 or Net Detective 8.0)
  • When advertising Background Checks Use: Learn how to find or available in law enforcement edition, etc.
  • When advertising Criminal Records Use: This should say Learn how to find or available in law enforcement edition, etc.
  • When advertising Social Security Numbers. Use: This should say Verification of Social Security Index meaning death records. The actual Social Security Numbers are not available.
  • When advertising our Refund Policy - Do not use The 100% Guarantee.
  • Net Detective can only be advertised for $29.00

Items that need to removed:

  • Any references/logos referring to National Association of Independent Private Investigators (NAIPI) must be removed.
  • Any references to Harris Digital Publishing (our name has been HD Publishing Group since March 2007… can use our full name or HDP or HDPG)
  • Any references to downloading Net Detective
  • Any references to CDs (including images of CDs or box)
  • Any references to “versions” of Net Detective (i.e., Net Detective 7.0 or Net Detective 8.0)

Don’t forget that all these items need to be removed from META tags also.

 

We have two different versions of Net Detective.  1) Net Detective (ND) standard and 2) Net Detective PLUS (NDP), which is the Law Enforcement Edition.  The statistics and testimonials for each is listed below.

Statistics/Guidelines:

  • 1.1 Billion Records for Net Detective (standard)
  • 3.1 Billion Records for Net Detective PLUS (Law Enforcement Edition only)
  • Background Checks (Should say “Learn how to find” or “available in law enforcement edition only”)
  • Criminal Records (Should say “Learn how to find” or “available in law enforcement edition only”)
  • Social Security Numbers (This should say “verification” or “Social Security Index” meaning death records. We do not allow for searching of Social Security Numbers for legal reasons)
  • DMV or Driver Records (Should say “How to find…”)
  • No License Plate Lookups (This is not available for legal reasons)

  • We have a customer support team available to answer customer questions
